Injector stuck open, hydrolocked.
This is the L33 that I picked up that will replace it.

My jaw dropped when I saw the hole in the oil pan but good thing that you already had the 5.3 on standby. I plan on purchasing a notch soon and this makes me more anxious. Good luck man hope to see vids of it running soon.

Yes. I am just trying to figure out what heads to run. I have 241s, 706s, and 862's to go on the l33. any input from anyone?

Got a new cam for the L33. Also got some precision engine products dual valve springs and titanium retainers. Looking for 243/799 heads to put it back together.

Man that's shitty about the motor.....but did you say that you had to pull the motor to remove the oil pan ?

I suppose I should update this. I got a little mad at the project and let it sit for awhile. I'm now full swing on it again. This is the progress on the sbe L33. I just picked up my 243s with a valve job and mild port. Will have ls7 lifters, comp pushrods, double valve springs with titanium retainers, and a trunniun upgrade on stock rockers.

Wow, haven't been on here in awhile. I've got 1500 street miles on her now, and went through some minor chamges. I'll have to update and clean out this thread someday.
