Console shifter for 69 Cutlass- LS3, 4L60E Really sorry if this question has been beaten to death here. I did do some searching but got so much that it would take me a while to sort it out.
I helped my dad do a 69 Cutlass LS3 conversion. The car still has its original console shifter in it, but we can't seem to modify it enough to be able to pull it down into 1st gear (2nd gear is as good as it gets and still be able to put it in park).
Can anyone offer suggestions, or post what you are using in your A-body?
