Ideling and crusing problem '01 LS1 Firebird in '87 Monte
Starts and runs great, but when it gets up to 80-90 C it wont idel properly, and sometimes dies.. When driving, no problem until I hold the same speed and rpm for a few sec. It sounds like its running way to rich. Change speed and rpm its back to running great, until Im back to crusing at the same speed.
Any ideas?
No errorcodes, and no check engine-light btw

I also had the same issue. Turned out to be Right O2 sens.
Few days prior, I remember driving through an area where there was lil bit of water ( + - 4 inches ) close to the R curb. Toasted the R sensor.
Use ur scanner n see if Ur O2's are toggling. If not, Log some data.

I also had the same issue. Turned out to be Right O2 sens.

Mine was a combination of a small exhaust leak on one side above the O2 sensor, and the MAF sensor in a bad part of the intake without a good 4 inches of laminar flow.
But are they weak for water? So i schould concider moving them to a dryer place? They are located pretty near the road today..
