K10 LQ4 swap Hi all, I am planning an LQ4 swap into my brothers 84 k10. I have an lq4 in my truck, so familiar with that engine, unless someone recommends differant. Anyway, ive been doing some research about the mounts, tranny, wiring, ......anyone out there done this swap before?
The truck has the 4 speed with granny gear so i would need some kind of flywheel to fit the 6.0. Stock truck manifolds or headers? Good place to find engine mounts?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx all!

some info I have found here .
but lots more ls stuff in the 73-87 body style at www.ck5.com nice site also friendly .
there is at least 10-12 active guys doing or running ls power over there in the 4wd stuff.
so what you cant find here try there.

THe swap is really no different than any other. I did a swap in my 90 burb and posted it here.
