So to clarify you have a drive by wire (electronic throttle) and you want to go to mechanical throttle body?
Drive by wire was available in model year 2000 on some Tahoe's with 5.3L engine. The 00 to 2002 PCM used those years for drive by wire are the SAME computer used for cable throttle, including the 09354896 (99-00) and 12200411 (01-02).
Starting in 2003 All trucks were now drive by wire, and used a computer with blue/green connectors. These are the ones you need to check to see if they will be able to control the stepper motor on the mechanical throttle body. Typically these were in express vans, 4.3L trucks and in 2004 the Pontiac GTO.
These will work....if yours is just one digit different, it will not.
