Default Ls1 Alternator Mount in a 68 Camaro

I just picked up an lq4 6.0 with ls1 drive accessories up front. I also picked up trans dapt motor mount kit. I was curious if anybody could tell me if I will have clearance issues running the factory lower driver side alt. If so can somebody help me with where I can get a mount to work and where it should be mounted. Thanks Tommy

Try doing a search here or on google. I think I've seen where the subframe will need notching, but I wouldn't put money on it.

I think it fit fine. it totally depends on the adapter plates. only way to know for sure is a test fit

I think I'm going to take it off to set the engine in there just in case. Hope it fits because those adapters to move the alternators that I've found are expensive
