66 Chevelle LSA/4L90E Conversion
Didn't hear anything from Cory today.........But the first quick pull yesterday with the Timing stabilized.........The car made 480 rear wheel horsepower.........So.....I can't wait to see what it will do with everything dialed in..........These engines just amaze me.......this thing idles like Grandma's car........Hope to have a video tomorrow.....
Stefano had the car delivered to Frame-up Wheelworks in Beach Park, Ill to get the A/C system checked and charged and also Donnie is going to check out the brake system...........Getting close....

Donnie and the guy's at Frame-up knocked the Chevelle out in a day..........The A/C is charged and ready to go........They had to replace one A/C hose that I didn't make correctly and they also replaced the brake pads...........It seem's that after having the rotors plated locally , during the break=in of the pads..........it seems the plating wore off the rotors and embedded itself in the pads and took away the braking power.........after changing the pads you could see all the plating that was embedded in the pads.......Car stops great now!!!
So......After picking the car up from Frame-Up today.....this was the first time I have driven the car after being dialed in by Nickey............LOL..........Un-Freak'in believeable..........This engine is insane as to the power available.........All I can say is GM sure did their homework when putting this combo together......I have driven some high H.P. cars before.......But......."Nothing" like this........Can't wait for the weather to show up at some time in the future.........LOL

I've been fortunate for my Car to be a part of their Power Tour display for the last couple of years......Great guy's and a great Quality Company!!!!
Getting a few loose ends tied up..........Added a II Much fuel tank vent system......That took all of 45 minutes..........Time for a Nap again............There's also a shot showing a bottom shot of the car......everything is above the crossmember.......nothing hanging down below so the car is very "Street Smart".......(don't have to worry about speed bumps.....LOL)

The weather didn't co-operate with some sunshine today for some good pictures.....but here are some before and after pictures.......Best pull on the Dyno was 569 rear wheel H.P. and 512 ft pounds of torque......Idles like a Grandma's car with Ice Cold A/C......Killer sound system with satellite radio.......Crazy.......

Kevin- Car looks awesome! Wanted to reach back out to you now that it's on the road.
How's the turning radius with your Ridetech suspension? I feel like mine hit's the stops a bit too early.
Thanks for any feedback or guidance you can share.

The driveability of the car is awsum.....I haven't noticed any issues with the turning radius like I thought there would be......The car makes stupid Power.....and......Even though the brakes are now working satisfactory......I didn't like the manual set-up and I am installing a new DSE Power Booster and Master cylinder set-up as we speak.....

I had a minor issue with the check engine light coming on.........I took the car back to Stefano and Cory at Nickey Chicago........It took Cory 5 minutes to tweak the ECM........after that we went to the "Gourmet" Dining spot in the Chicago area for Lunch........LOL........But......One thing that I still am not 100% with are the brakes......I guess I'm just getting spoiled driving with Power Brakes......It was recommended by Wilwood to go non power........But!!!!!........So......When I got home here is what was waiting for me.......so.....here is how I spent the night with a fully belly of Portillo's.....LOL......Had to remove the inner fender panel to get at the booster mounting nuts and to give me some access to making new brake lines.......that Eastwood flaring tool has paid for itself many times over just in the ease of flaring the lines on this project over those Chinese piece of Crap tools.....Great Job Eastwood!!!......I was also considering using a Hydro boost.....But.......I just don't like the way they look!!!
