I have a Walbro 255lph inline pump. I haven't heard it run yet so I can't vouch for its sound but it looks pretty nice. Russell hard tube adaptor on the stock tank and braided hose to the pump. It should work well.... (at least in theory).

'99+ Corvette filter/regulator. I used the hard tube adapters on the input side of the filter and found a piece of tubing at NAPA that went into the other end, then another hard tube adapter.

The adapter on the pump itself is a 10mmx1 to -6AN. They're hard to find though. I found them at www.lightningmotorsports.com. It's a ricer site, but they had what I needed. The rubber thing around the pump and the clamp-thing came from there too.

I too have the Walbro 340 255lph pump and have had no problems in nearly 2 years. Scooter went all out with the AN fittings, but I cheaped out and went with high pressure rubber line. My regulator is an over the counter 99 vette regulator/ filter with the return dumping back into the tank at the stock return port on top.

yea thats what i planned on using, but i just checkin to see what the experts were using. and 70 LS1, is that pump loud at all? i think for now i will go with the high pressure rubber hose, but i am also gonna be using a fuel cell instead of a gas tank so i think i might just have to save up and get the steel braided hose. any other tips yall wouldnt mind giving me on the fuel system? i really appreciate all the help that yall are givin me.

The pump is not very loud. I always let the pump run for a second or so before I start the car and you can hear it, but once the car starts, you can't hear it at all. I do have a pretty loud exhaust system and it is a convertible if that matters.
