New to the site...name is Rob from Port Perry, Ontario, Canada... In the process of an LS1 conversion into a 1956 Belair 2 door Sport Coupe. have owned the car for 33 years. Also doing a T-56 transmission and Ford 9" with 3:89 gears. Looking for info from anyone else doing a Tri Five conversion. Need some input regarding headers vs cast iron manifolds. I have also installed a new Borgeson Power Steering Box and am having trouble finding a set of headers to configure around it. Any help to solve this would be appreciated. Thanks

I just finished installing an LS6/T56 into my 57 Bel-air. I bought the engine installation kit from Ecklers which came with the 3/4 length headers. I still have the factory steering box, but I am putting the borgeson box in this winter as well. Ecklers says the headers will fit with this box and looking at mine now I would say there is lots of space. TTYL.
