Narrowing C5 Rear Suspension???
along wiht my plans for my '83 camaro i am lookin fo rsomething a bit more radical to try to swap.
i am lucky enough to have a candidate here, 1992 Eagle Talon TSI. it was my bro's car until he popped the motor, now it is a driveway ornament. i was thinking a C5 drive train woudl not be a terrible swap since the car already has a rear suspension that is designed to have power put through it.
anyone know how or where to find info on narrowing an independant rear, if not i can always make an adaptor to use the existing one.
thanks
tim
the torque tube i have started looking into already, hopefuly a call to my local driveshaft adn welding shop will be the solution(pete's welding in trenton seems to always answer my crazy drive train questions)
thanks

I just saw a complete C-5 drive train on e-bay including front and rear components. Do a search under complete engines--GM. I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but thought this might help.
