LS2 help I'm swapping an LS2 into an old car. Looking for help on the pinouts. I need an output to drive a speedometer (classic Instruments). Is the VSS signal at the ECM pin 21 on J1 something I can use? My harness has on wire on that pin now.

What computer is the engine using? In order for the output on the computer to work, there needs to be an input from the transmission. Do you know if the vehicle speed sensor is there and wired up? What transmission is it?
Mine wouldn't work using the wire from the ECM. I had to tap directly into the VSS Lo signal wire before it went into the TCM to get the Autometer speedometer to work. FWIW mine ECM/TCM were from a 2008 TBSS.

Thanks for the input. I do have the VSS sensor at the transmission. (4L60E) going to the TCM. Classic told me about tapping into the VSS signal but somebody else said it might "confuse" the ECM. Good to know it worked out. I might have to use it. My engine, and parts, is from an '06 GTO.
