Mustang Hydroboost Question
I believe the Mustang hydroboost is somewhat the same from '99 until '04?
I've seen advertised boosters from a Mustang, GT, Cobra, Mach 1, SVT, etc. I guess there are plenty of six cylinder cars out there as well. Not being a Mustang guy, I don't really know the implications of choosing a unit from one "model" vs. the next.
Anyone here know the nuisances between the hydroboost units and master cylinders that came on the various Mustangs from 1999-2004? Are there differences? Or are they all the same?
TIA.

Nothing of note differentiates the hydroboost units themselves.
(None better then any other)
Master cylinders have difference part numbers but if you get a replacement they are the same so I'm not sure it matters. The lines themselves are a pita as they are bubble flare if you don't have that tool.

I've read that the Astro van units are used for swap applications but I haven't read of anyone using one in an E36. I'm not much of a trailblazer.
