Wanting to add remote start to my chevelle. Has a 2000 silverado 5.3 4l60e. I haven't found complete installation instructions for the kit I want to use. Was wondering how tough the installation could be? I feel it should be fairly simple since it has no bcm and security system to satisfy. Is there any hidden monsters lurking that I'm overlooking? Looking at the avital 4103lx kit.

I have remmote starts on almost all my swaps, its not that hard to do. You will just have to find the wires you need on the ignition switch yourself since the instructions won't cover install on a chevelle. Basically the purple start wires, ignition and accessory wires.
