Fuel return question

Fuel return question
Hello everyone, I have a pretty easy question. I am installing a 2004 GTO LS1 in a 54 Cadillac. I am using a Walbro in line pump into a Corvette style bypass filter. The return line off the filter, can I pipe that right into my actual fuel filler tube that goes into my tank so the return fuel would "run back into the tank" in essence? Also what fitting am I looking for to adapt the ends on that filter to 6AN lines? Thanks in advance!

Here is one with the adapters

you can also buy them separately. You need 3/8 and 5/16

Summit, Jegs, Speedway also have them.
As far as returning your fuel to the filler neck. No troubles as long as it is far enough down to prevent splashing up near your cap.
