power steering pump question

Default power steering pump question
im going to be running the corvette accessories on my swap, my question is about the power steering pump. are the pumps the same from F-body to Y-body (vette) and just different brackets or are the pumps and brackets specific to each model. ill be running the dirty dingo power steering bracket so modifying it wont be a problem. also what are you guys doing to adapt the lines from the pump to the stock rack and pinion

The pumps are different. The Vette one does not have the tank mounted on it. I also believe the pulleys are different. The mounting holes on the pumps will be the same as well.

I used an f-body pump with my holley bracket setup. I had to tap it for the input hose adapter, but it's working great.

detroit speed sells braided steel lines and all the fittings you'll need....check out the last two pages of my C20 Suburban build thread to see all the painful details as I just went through the same thing....hopefully itll save you some time
