I have the straight one and the darn thing leaks!!!!

I took it off and bolted in back on to make sure I didn't botch the install, and I didn't. It looks like the housing doesn't get a good bit on the rubber gasket of the t-stat. Really hate to goop this up with RTV. Any suggestions?

What thermostat are you running? I think alot of the aftermarket straight necks are designed to use an SBC thermostat.

Running the LS-specific t-stat and it came with the housing.

Anyway, I think its sealed-up for now using the Right-stuff. Luv that stuff!!!
