Hodgepodge build???
Hodgepodge build??? Ok guys. I have accumulated enough parts to put a car together but the combo is a mess.
Forged ls1 (-11cc pistons)(9.5ish:1)
Afr205 heads 66cc
Ecs big blower cam 23X/23X low 600s lift on a 115lsa iirc.
-motor cam from a Vette with an f1r and made roughly 850rwhp.
Edelbrock super victor intake
Msd 6010
Demon 850 carb
Dynatech headers for ls swap in fox.
Crossbar nitrous plate kit
I have a built powerglide and two options for a converter(4500 or 5000)
Chassis is a notchback car that is pretty much a race car. Pretty light.
Will this low compression, boost cam, super Vic/carb set up be worth puttin together.?
I'd love to be able to do a cheap turbo set up but I don't have the money for it and I don't have the money for efi. From what I have read every point in compression is worth roughly 3%. On a 400hp setup that's 12 hp. Should I try to find a big cam and rock out with it. Utilize the super Vic intake? Will it be a complete dog.
Ill probably end up putting it together and seeing what happens I'd love to swap the cam for something more ideal for na/nitrous. That's probably as far as I'm going to go.
