LS1 Getting Swapped Into Prius (/w pics)
I've seen so many go through the insurance auction and thought how cool it would be to do this swap.
My ideas were to put an LS4/4T60e in the trunk but still a cool build.

SUBSCRIBED , please update this thread regularly , lots of people gona love this thread , it would be cool if you could keep a close to stock ride height , hubcaps , Cadillac mufflers , and cruise around town "unnoticed " , what are you doing about a fuel tank ?

Autofab is literally 3 minutes up the road from me. I had gears done there years ago, and they overcharged me. Took them two weeks too, and they charged me to "store" my car there. Seems they have a reputation for playing games to squeeze more money out of people.
I hadn't been there in a few years...went to see if I could buy wheel studs there when I needed them for the Impala. They had the front door open, with a "do not cross" tape across the doorway, and would not even acknowledge that I was there, trying to get inside. There must have been 7 people in there, laughing, totally ignoring me, even though I was like "hello?....hello?" 5 feet away from them.
So, I'll never go back to that place for any reason. And I make sure to tell everyone about how they rip people off and are extremely rude. Maybe they can build a car, I don't know. But I would rather pay double somewhere else than to give Autofab any more of my business.

I've actually seen this car being worked on. I didn't see it with the engine in yet, these pics are a little more recent than what I saw. I got to see the shell cleaned out. I had my car up at Autofab having my procharge put on, and had to ask wtf! I hate that you're taking this car back to Boston, I want to see this thing run at capitol first!

thought i'd see someone try to swap an sr20 or 2jz or something in a prius first but the ls is even crazier....lovin it! cant wait to see it done and running and pissing off eco-mentalists like Jeremy Clarkson calls em lol
