Question about swap mount plates

I bought some adapter plates on ebay for my 74 chevy truck. I don't understand how these plates would work since I have the clamshell style mounts. Can anyone tell me how they work?

nevermind I figured it out...old 350 mount brackets bolt on to the swap plates

yup.. Shell to the plate.. and then just drop the engine it on top of the mounts..
