LS1 cam in 5.3 LM7

Just curious if I need to do anything to the valves to put a LS1 cam in a 5.3 LM7??? Cam is out of 2000 SS Camaro.

Don't want to ruin anything a newbie to the car hobby but if someone could just breakdown anything that is necessary or beneficial upgrade on this type of cam swap would be helpful.

I thumbed thru a few pages of the forum and didn't see anything directly answering this, if I missed it please point me that direction, thanks!

You should be ok, thee LS1 cam would have more than enough PTV clearance.. if you find a LS6 cam, that would be a nice increase and still be drivable without a tune. But a tune would be recommented.
