a little help please

hey im new to ls motors but I have a lq4 casting nub 12551364 truck motor that im looking to put in my 1988 caprice just looking for a little insight on doing so thing I have; motor mounts, harness,computer, thing im looking for; ls1 car intake oil pan that will clear

Have you checked gm performance they have a pretty good oil pan for cheap

trelly, no need to be mad when looking for help. Yes this can be frustrating at times but at the end of the road it is something that you can pat your self in the back.
For the intake you can make one your self with 4" tube.

For the oil pan I assume the GM Muscle could work?

yes I have I really didn't no what I was looking for so im going to call. Someone also said that the water pump neck would hit the hood do u or have you heard this???

If I was to do it again, I would get an f-body pan and cut the crossmember. That muscle car pan does hang about an 1.5" below and that's after I raised the motor.
