A couple swap questions for a Fox I have picked up an LS to swap into my Fox Mustang. First questions is what trans crossmember to I need to match up to the 4L60E trans that I have? I currently have an AJE crossmember for the Ford C-4 trans. Will that one work or can it be modified to work? Next question is what is a good option for a shifter for this? I currently have a ratchet style shifter for the C-4 trans, can that one be made to work? Thanks in advance for any help/info.
you might be able to fab the trans crossmember you have...going to have to mount it to find out though. and no your shifter will not work, the c4 is 3 speed, 4l60 is 4 speed.
I went with a winters sidewinder shifter, custom ordered the "competition" one, pic is not fully installed. going to have to fab mounting brackets
