New design for aje k member?

I just put one in over the weekend and the steering rack if you get one side lined up, the other bushing will not start.
On my A arms, stock ones will slide right in, but my UPR tubular A arms won't start at all, they look way off for some reason.
I have the exact same setup on my other car with no issues, so I know "it should" work. My other car has the older round tube k member though

The older tube style where better imho.
My a arms are aje and they where tight to go in. I dont have a manual rack yet to try the rest. The tubes that hold the rack slid right in.

Could you elaborate a little on the problems?
