PCM/ECM in Trunk?

PCM/ECM in Trunk? Are there any issues with extending out my wire harness to mount the PCM in the trunk? Wanting to keep my 65 Chevy II looking clean.
I want to keep it out of the engine bay for looks, there isn't enough room for it to go under the dash or seats so was thinking the front of the trunk.

I think it would be ok. Since you are running fairly low voltage and amperage from the pcm I would think the extended wires would put very little additional load on the system. I have read that there may be an issue with modifying the MAF wiring but don't know what the issue is though. Just gotta make sure your grounds, etc. are really good so you don't put additional load on the system.

The van harness looks interesting,a think a better idea is to put the battery in the trunk
and mount the pcm,relays and fuses where the battery was factory mounted and fab a box/cover to conceal it,or disguise it as a battery using one of those fake battery tops.
