Throttle By Wire delete?
Throttle By Wire delete? Hi all,
I'm doing a simple standalone harness for a LS1 944 conversion. As a start, I bought what I thought was a 01 Camaro LS1 harness, but it has a throttle Position Controller module (PN 10426909). Does this make the harness from a TBW car. Can I just delete it and the associated wiring? Is the PCM any different? Comments welcome!

The fbody did have that controller. But it is not needed for a standalone harness. I beleive that controller was used for traction control systems.. but I can be corrected. ?.
I still have that controller sitting around if anyone needs one...
