motor mount issue
motor mount issue i have recently installed a 5.3 in my 72 nova. i bought sbc 67-69 camaro 327 frame stands, autokraft mounts and pan. the motor is in the car however my drivers header is contacting my steering box and i cant put my pitman arm on. any help would be greatly apreciated i dont know what to do. the transmission is not in the car.

The 2288HKR headers were designed before my time here, but I know the Hooker swap plates that they were designed to work with set the back of the passenger side cylinder head about 1/4" away from the firewall. Do you have that same clearance with your set-up?
