Default 1987 cutlass
im do a swap on a 1987 cutlass 5.3 with dod on it will i have to plug the dod in on the back of the motor on the valley cover if not will it run in v8 mode or 4cylinder mode?

It should default to 8 cylinders. Lots of people disable DOD entirely.
