Idle slow to return to normal

I have a 36 Chevy that I installed a 2000 Camero slp motor and trans and am having trouble with idle returning to normal slowly and hesitating on acceleration how do I solve problems

You will probably get more response in the PCM Tuning & Diagnoysic or Generation III External section.
