I'm currently going through a ls1 swap into my FD RX7. I recently purchased a ls1 from a 1999 Corvette. The motor came with the wiring harness and ecu but what I'm curious about is if the harness will hook up to a t56 properly. If I remember correctly the 1999 vettes came with a different transmission so that's the reason I'm unclear about if the harness will work with it or not. I was also told that I may have to go with a F body harness to work with the t56 but I'm worried that if I go that route I would have to change all the sensors out because they may not correct for whatever reason. All replys are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

 

You realize the vette is drive by wire, right?

 

Yes I do but I was planning on running a cable throttle body. But if im missing something im open to suggestions and advice. im just mainly confused if itll hook up properly to the t56 if not will i need to change out sensors and stuff if i were to go with the f body harness and ecu. Another question I have is will the f body harness hook up to the vette ecu or vise versa? thanks for your time.
