Thunder Road Dash Looking to see and get input on how to install a Thunder Road Dash panel ? I am using Autometer Short Sweep gauges (already had a full set, so I just picked up the panel).
1) How much cutting did you have to do to the original Dash ? I have a sweep Dash in my 71.
2) Did you install it with the original Dash in place or did you remove the whole dash ? vs just the Gauge Cluster.
3) How did you connect to the OEM wiring harness ? (Indicator light, light, etc)
4) Any issues with removing and moving the Air/AC Vent, wiper switch and light switch ?
I am currently mocking up and making a harness for the Gauges now, don't expect any issue with making the harness. But would like to get input for the rest of the install and interface of the wiring and attaching the panel.
