Default brp t56 crossmember

trying to install t56 crossmember from BRP into a '69 camaro and having trouble with holes lining up. The holes to mount to the frame are about a 1/2" off and the hole for the crossmember mount is about a whole inch, inch and a half off. The guys at BRP said the hole was supposed to be off-center but it seems like it is way off. I could elongate the holes on one or both sides of the flange that mounts to the subframe but I don't think that will be enough. I used their motor mounts so it should line up. I also used the S&P modified oil pan and seem to have plenty of clearance with the center link after having turned the tires full left and full right. Any suggestions?

i've since tightened up the body mounts and measured from the a-arm grease fittings to reference holes on the body. the measurements were within a 1/16th of an inch. i'll try the subframe connecter again, but i think i will have to cut the tab off that bolts to the tranny mount and re-weld it in the correct location. one side of the crossmember that bolts to the subframe will have to have the holes elongated just like the factory piece.

Before you go and get the BRP stuff, you might want to look at a crossmember that actually fits exactly how it is supposed to:

Check my website for details and feedback on it.
