5.3 swap radiator question

Doing a 5.3 swap into a 72 chevelle and trying to find out if the stock, 3 tube radiator with dual fans will be enough to keep everything cool. Thanks for any input.

It should be ok. Really depends on what the 5.3 is built with ?

You will need to check the size of the inlet and outlet of the radiator and what is on the 5.3 water pump. You might have to use a reducer on upper hose as I believe it is smaller on the pump outlet that what is upper radiator.

Thanks. It is a stock 5.3, the only thing added is a set of headers. I am using dual fans from a Ford Wndstar.

I used a 1 row, aluminum/plastic radiator for over a year. Truth be told, I think it cooled better than the new champion, 2-row all aluminum radiator I'm currently running

I am using a Ford Windstar dual fan set up. The cables were cut when it was removed so it has two red and two black, probably 10ga wires and 3 small ga wires in the harness that is connected to the fans. The 3 small wires come from a connector that branches off between the fans. Trying to find a schematic for the Windstar connections.
