Default Blue/Green pinout question

I had my harness professionally modified but I may have some problems. On blue connector pin 32 (trans. range switch signal A) is missing. Blue 72 (trans. range switch signal B) is also missing. My pinout says they are necessary. Can anyone clear this up? Necessary or not? By the way, it's a 2003 5.3 with 4L65E trans.

Wink

You dont need them but they do alter the idle speed when you are in gear and in park/neutral. So they are not absolutely necessary, just convenient.

Default Pinouts

Thanks for the quick and accurate answer. Wonder why he did that?

Default

Makes the harness simpler/smaller and some 60e and 80e trans don't have the park neutral/ gear indicator switches on the gear selector shaft of the trans. So that's likely why he removed the wires.
