ecm help needed again. Ok I have a 03 6.0l/th400 in my 67 ChevyII. I got the motor from a salvage yard. I did not get the ecm that came with the truck. Nor did I get the vin#. I pulled the harness from a 2000 suburban. I removed all the unnecessary pins from the harness. I feel 90% confident its properly wired correct. Im using a 05 truck intake because of the larger injectors. Now im ready to fire it up. I have a ecm that I picked up serv# 09354896 hdw#16220610. This ecm is a non vats delete. Ive been told by a couple of people that I should be able to use any vats deleted ecm to start the car. Is this true? I have called several shops for help and I keep hearing Frankenstein setup? Is it possible this set up I have can be set up and run?
