5.3 swap help!

Hey guys. I'm about to start the wiring for my harness. Harness and motor are from a 04 envoy 4x4. The thing is not cable driven like I would like it to be for my 87 trans am. I just want to know if I can use a ecm from a 00 silveraldo or a suggestion on one that I can use? I should be able to get a 5.3 ecm easy but a 4th Gen firebird isn't that easy to get for me.

It has the pinouts for your harness, how to convert to dbc and pcm info.
