On that factory harness that connector went to the fuse block.

It's difficult to see all the wire colors but if that blue stripped wire is pink then it would be connector C101. The red and light green are 12v for the injectors and coils, pink/blue is 12v for skip shift and rev lockout, green is for ac and blk is gnd.

This powers up the entire engine harness. Cannot be deleted. Mine was missing when I got my engine and I had to find another one. I used the factory LS2 engine harness AND the GTO body harness, so they plugged right together. If you are not using a stock body harness, I am not sure what you would do with this connector.

Thanks... Great Info
It looks like I need to add a 15 amp circuit for the ignition red and green plus a circuit for the transmission goodies. Delete the AC wire, run a ground.. Sound right???

Also do you guys eliminate the ect sensor and oil pressure when running aftermarket gauges??

Thanks
BobH

Your pcm needs the ect sensor. But the oil pressure can be deleted.

Water can be picked up at the head. Both heads have a port but the one on the driver's side has a sensor already. Don't delete this sensor or else the computer can't monitor temp. Instead, use the one on the passenger side head. You will find a little plug to the rear of where the headers/exhaust manifold is. It's either a torx or allen bolt...I forget.

The pic in my signature isn't actually my car...just one that I photoshopped a bit to have as a reference. However I do have a million pictures on my build thread at this link: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...-5-3-swap.html
