TBSS intake in turbo G-Body?

put this TBSS intake on my mock up engine and the map sensor hits the hood brace in my regal. I have Trans-Dapt mounts. Anyone help me make this a reality without cutting? I guess I can go back to the regular intake.

You are dropping in a LS motor, gutted the HVAC for a firewall plate but dont want to put a small notch in the hood bracing to clear the intake?
