68 Cutlass LS3 conversion, a/c clearance question Anyone run into issues with the corvette accessory drive with the low a/c unit not clearing the crossmember? I've got a 68 Cutlass and I've got a shop dropping in a crate 376/525 LS3, and they've run into a clearance issue with the compressor and the crossmember. I'm using Muscle Rods engine mounts and the GM Performance a/c drive kit (which GM said would work in my application). I called GM back and they had no options that they knew would work. Anyone know a fix? Thanks.

I'm looking into notching, price-wise to see if it's comparable to a relocation bracket. I've got a few emails out to Dirty Dingo, Holly, Muscle Rods, and Kwik Performance to find out if any of their kits will work. Just wondering if anyone has had some luck with something they've used. Thanks.

You can use the water pump off 2010 Camaro w/auto tranny (VVT engine L99) and space your Vet PS/ALT bracket of the head with an 1 1/2 spacer using the truck ac mount/denso compressor and crank pulley (my came off 2010 express van LY6. Just another option to cutting up frame.

Is ur motor mount for stock location or 1" forward. 1" or 1.5 "forward would help & use the smaller Sanden 508 compressor from Alan Grove AC low mount kit, but they're for Camaro or Truck accessories set up , but to make ur others ( Vett PS & Alt) to work , just add spacers to those & ur Vett WP also. U probably stI'll have 2 notch crossmember but not as much if u move the engine forward 1" or 1.5" forward

I've got no problem with clearance on the power steering and alternator, just the a/c. I think the Holly relocation bracket will work perfectly, and one of the members here has used it on his set-up with no problems. I just have to call Holly on Monday to make sure it will work with my gear and vehicle. Thanks for the help all.
