96 impala swap , need help with the trany !! Hello , so whats up ?
so i bought the" 4l60e " and having problems choosing best parts to rebuild it
i'm really confused
so i will really appreciate any help , im on budget and the engine is only 400 hp "ls6" so not thinking of something hardy 
what is the best 3/4 clutch ? i was thinking of the gm blue ones ??
best 2-4 band ?
best servo ?
what else do i need to upgrade

I am not a super duper trans guy but have built many 450hp 60es with no trouble. I keep it very simple at that power level. BW 65e 3-4 pack, stock band, and a trans go kit set up on the mild side with a vette servo. Good sprag, sunshell, and go through the pump. With good tuning it will last forever like this.

i heard that BW High Energy are good , but would you think the blue ones are better ?

Don't get frustrated, just look in the automatic transmission section of this forum. I'm sure your question has already been answered since that topic is the specialty of the area. Even if it hasn't been covered (doubtful), the transmission section would be the far better place to ask.
