1969 Chevelle Swap My sons and I are working on swapping in a 5.3 from a 2003 Tahoe into 1969 Chevelle.
Both the intake and alternator sit up too high for the hood to close. I posted a thread in the Gen III forum on the intake (maybe using a LS1 or LS6 replacement?)
Main Question: my alternator needs to be moved. I'm looking at a kit from ICTBillet - LS Accessory Mounting Bracket Kit 551570. Anyone have any experience with this?

Maybe you motor is sitting up a little high. I have no problem with the L92 and the truck alternator in my 65 Buick Skylark. As to the intake I used the LS3 style. A lot of them are new take offs at a very reasonable price.
