Default Truck running rough after sitting

I got my truck back from the shop yesterday after close to 2 months. After I picked it up it developed a misfire. I kinda it might because it sat for so long and its been really cold here in South Dakota lately....plus the truck ran fine before I took it in(apart from the engine surging at idle)...The plugs and wires are about 4 months old so they're still ok and the plugs wires were connected properly. I hooked up my obd2 adapter and torque app but there was no misfire code so...I did pull so o2 sensor codes though...p0134,p0135,p0154 and p0155. I replaced to o2 sensors but the codes are still there and it still surges. So im stumped. U guys have any idea what could be the issue?

It could be the gas. Gas these days just isn't good.

I agree, it could very possibly be the gas, or what the crappy gas causes these days, sticky injectors. I would take it out and drive it, maybe put some fresh gas in it and then blow the cobwebs out of it.

you can see if it is one of the injectors by disconnecting one at a time and seeing if the engine misfires/vibrates/or has a different tone. if you can narrow it down to a single injector, you might try tapping it lightly with a piece of wood or something. I've been able to unstick some old injectors this way and they seemed to work fine afterwards.

+3 if it had E10 in the tank. Drive it some and then fill the tank with some Top Tier rated 91+ octane fuel. If you have ethanol free fuel available in your area be sure to always use it in any vehicle that sits enough that you don't put gas in it once a month.

I have a feeling its a sticky injector too and I think its on the passenger side bank...when the truck is running the driver side tail pipe sounds fine but the passenger side pops. When its driving u can feel its down on power a little and it shakes a bit. I usually put 89 octane gas in it...yesterday I put some 87 in it and filled the tank. I think I may start putting 91 in it. I put some heet in the tank a while ago. I'll post a video soon here...

Heat is just alcohol, if you're using E10 fuel you're just adding alcohol to fuel that has 10% alcohol. Also 91 octane fuel is unnecessary unless you motor has high enough compression to need it or it's the only ethanol free fuel available in your area, the only reason I suggested it is because at some stations 91 will have more detergents in it. 87 may be better than the 89 you normally run, around here 89 is guaranteed to be E10, and 87 only has ethanol in it if it's marked on the pump.

People also ignore the importance of Top Tier rated fuel, I used to always fill my 02 Malibu winter car at the local station but this summer I was driving it to a welding class 4 times a week, and in that commute I would drive buy 2 BP's and a Phillips 66 so I started filling up at one of those stations every week. Halfway through the second tank the SES light went out after being on for 3 months and I gained 2 mpg.

Try cleaning the MAF and Throttle Body/IAC. Use the correctly cleaners for the MAF (spray MAF Cleaner), else you can cause more damage.

People keep saying that but I've always been fine using isopropyl alcohol and q tips from the dollar store.

Well i drove my truck to work today and its not misfiring anymore. I started it and it missed for a minute and then it was gone. I drove it around for an hour or so and its totally fine now. I'm Just happy now. I also stopped at napa and told the guy there said its probably the tps. I thought the tps was only on engines with dbw but i guess i was wrong so ill change it and see what happens...fingers crossed

Don't change the TPS it would be a waste of money, I'd probably never ask that guys opinion again. I don't think I've heard someone say it's probably the TPS sense I knew a guy with a TPI 88 Camaro, and guess what... it wasn't the TPS. Clean your MAF, TB and IAC, then check for vacuum leaks.
