Default Tow/haul mode with indicator light?

Swapped a 2002 Yukon 5.3 and 4l60e into my jeep J10. I have a momentary switch installed to enable or disable tow/haul mode and it works fine but there is no light that tells me its engaged as there was on the original GMC dash. I don't see an output for this on the PCM either.

What I want to do is push the tow button and see a light or LED come on until I push it again disabling tow and turning off the indicator. Anybody have an easy solution to this simple problem?
Thanks

Jeff

On my 4.8/6L80E swap- the original button wires to the BCM, which gives it the illuminated feedback. Not sure if it's the same on your set up.

No BCM on my older setup. There has to be an easy way to do this. Maybe with a relay or two? In my dream, when I push the button, pin 71 is momentarily grounded and a dash light (that I install) is on. Push it again and pin 71 is grounded again disabling tow/haul and the light goes out. Anybody have a simple relay design for this?

Thanks

I had wanted to do that too. I was going to try using a circuit like this http://todbot.com/blog/2010/01/02/mo...omment-page-2/ but never bothered to get around to it.
