Aftermarket oil pressure sensor

Hey all. Im using oil filter relocation kit using moroso products. Im gonna use aftermarket oil pressure gauge. The oil sender is way to big to fit at the back of the im. What kind of adapter or where do you tap yours?

You can drill and tap the block off plate above the oil filter on the oil pan.

Why would you spend $30 on that? Just tap your block off plate with 1/8th npt

My oil filter is not by the oil pan. Im using the moroso oil filter relocation kit.

Get an Autometer 2268 adapter. Screws into the stock location at the back of the intake and lets you run 1/8" npt. You can add a 1/8" npt 45 degree fitting to get clearance. $10.49 on Ebay shipped. Best solution I could come up with for mine.

Mine didn't seem like a threaded tap would have been a good solution. The plate was flat so the fitting would have penetrated into it. This seemed like a better shot to direct oil out to a sensor.

Also, $30 isn't ****. I've spent way more on way less. What if the guy doesn't have a tap and die kit?
