Default LS swap beginnings

Hi everyone! Hopefully you all can give me some help.

I'm just starting an LS swap into my 62 Impala SS and purchased an 02 Yukon to use the wiring/engine/everything out of. Has the LM7 engine. I want to make 400 at the wheels, NA while at the same time keeping a reasonable budget.

1. What parts can you suggest I use?
2. Stock heads (862) and port them or get new ones?
3. Will my stock driveshaft and 10 bolt hold up to that power? Can you suggest rear end conversions that bolt in easily?
4. What are the best engine mount plates/converters to get? I have no idea how far I need to move the engine forward or backwards at all.

These are just some general questions I have but any help is much appreciated! Thanks all!

The engine mounting location varies on if you want more weight in the back or up front. That will also change the driveshaft length and trans crossmember location. I had to buy an aftermarket crossmember because I used long tube headers and they didn't hang low enough to clear the stock crossmember. I had my driveshaft shortened and they said their weld would withstand over 500hp.

Do you have links to the plate you used and the crossmember?

First, check the engine carefully and make sure those heads are not the cracked Castech heads. Look for black mayo looking stuff under the valve covers and the Castech logo. If they are Castech heads and they haven't cracked... they will. This is the Castech logo:

Yeah I looked at that before I bought the engine. I thought Castech heads were only the 7-- casting number?
