Suggestions LQ9 help

Suggestions LQ9 help Just won the bid on a LQ9 came in under budget and have some money to spend. I am in the eastern NC area and am putting the LQ9 in a 81 firebird.
What mods do you suggest as critical for the LQ9 as I do not know much about them and my brain is on overload with all the reading ive been doing the past couple weeks scouring forums. The car will be a street car not necessarily a DD but I would like to cruise and take longer road trips to shows. not a fan of a trailer queen id rather rumble in than open a squeaky trailer door. I wish there was a complete turbo kit for the 2nd gen but I cant find one and no one that I know of around here has the fab skills to do it that I know of. now for me to sit back eat
and gain knowledge from all of you!!

Honestly, I had plans for heads, cam, etc.
But it ran so good out of the box, I didn't change a ting except for intake (hood clearance), exhaust, and tune.

Also, no need to go with high dollar exhaust is you're not modding the motor.

What ever direction you choose, make a plan and stick with it! I let project creep take over and ended up spending thousands more than I really needed to do the swap. Once you start modifying it all adds up quick.
