Radiator help
Radiator help I hope others might have been through this and offer a little help
Trying to button up my swap & I'm wanting to use my newish alum. rad.
Can I just add another port to it, much like the overflow port and then run my steam lines to it?
I'd really rather use the one that fits and works fine, rather then have to buy an LS specific radiator
Any info would be appreciated

You can add another port to yours, but the port must be below the radiator cap so it can not be made like an overflow port. You can also buy a radiator hose T to run your steam port into or drill and tap your water pump for the steam port.

It's already nice and shiny and it was built for my swap. Don't want to throw it away and have to start over.
Any science as to how far below the filler neck it needs to go? Below coolant level?

Nope, no science to it at all and it does not need to be below coolant level.
