Default G body swap ?s

Starting on a g body that is going to be getting a 6.0 with a mild cam. It will not have ac and I'm looking for other accesories bracket options other than the massive truck bracket. I do plan on running a car intake manifold. Any help is appreciated.

Your options depend on three primary factors, which are: 1.) Are you going to run the stock A/C box.? 2.) What steering box are you going to use? 3.) What engine mounting brackets are you going to use?

Do you have the 605 box that was used on the majority of G-body cars, or the quick ratio 700 series box that was used on the performance model G-bodies (Monte Carlo SS, Grand National). What set-back are your swap plates advertised to have?

Do yourself a favor and just return any parts you've already bought and buy all of the Hooker/ Holley g body swap parts. You'll save time, headaches and have a cleaner and better engineered swap when finished.

How far inboard is the exhaust hump in their crossmember?

I like how they addressed the 200-4R crossmember frame extension in the PDFs.

To Fry/jimmyg...thanks for the plugs guys, it has much more value coming from users such as yourself than from someone directly affiliated with Hooker/Holley.
