BMW electric heater control valve

BMW electric heater control valve I have an ls1 swapped e30 and would like to put back the heater core in line with the cooling, I believe my car has a NON bypass heater control valve that is electrical.
What do you guys that did swap on BMW's use for a bypass 4 way heater control valve that is electrical?
I have read that I need a bypass one to keep flow on the heater loop for the thermostat?
Any advice is appreciated.

I was thinking on using a the common Dorman 74781 ranger 4 way bypass valve and then using the cheapest vaccum solenoid I found at Napa 219226, I would then connect the solenoid to the same wire the e30 heater control valve is connected and have them in series as I don't want to damage the heater core trying to remove the old one
I'm running 2 LS swaps with aftermarket AC systems (Vintage ans Classic) and non bypass HCVs, no issues.
There are electric 4 port bypass HCV though. Check ebay for a Lincoln LS heater control valve. Not sure if it's normally open or closed.
