VVT harness to non-VVT engine?
VVT harness to non-VVT engine? Have what I believe is a GENIV 5.3 non VVT motor. Just getting around to installing a harness which is not original to the motor. Looks like the harness has a VVT cam sensor plug and the cam sensor connector on engine is a non VVT. Is there an easy (and hopefully inexpensive) fix for this?

Similar with VSS. Positive the trans was built well before the vehicle for the donor harness. Is there an easy (and hopefully inexpensive) way to fix this?

As for the VSS it is on the tail shaft. You pictured one of the solenoids.
