Default LY6 4x4

I'm doing a swap job and have my eye on a relatively local LY6 but the engine is set up for 4x4 output. I will be swapping into a RWD car and was wondering what the difference in the engine will be? Seems output shafts are different, but what should I expect to need to convert over?

Should I simply avoid any 4x4 engines and search for only RWD engines?

The engines are identical. The transmissions are different. If your looking for a complete package with engine and trans then you will want it from a rwd vehicle. If your just looking for an engine to use as a stand alone then either will work.

Thanks so much! Trans is coming from another vehicle so sounds like I can move forward.
